To those who have lost their lives,
I want to see it through your eyes.
Are you really free of fears now?
Can I ever know that feeling as a mortal?
When you entered the portal to infinity,
who was the first person you met?
I want you to tell me everything about them.
Maybe, one day, I’ll meet them too.
Because all these stories I’m being told,
about what it’s like to die,
are they true?
Can I even trust words from anyone but you?
Did you really lose your life?
Or did your life lose you?
Because I think I found the thing you lost.
And it’s still here, laying on the ground,
soon to be burried.
So I ask you politely,
why do you think we are scared of death,
when those who lost their lives have nothing to fear?
I think you have the answers I need.
But I’ll only get them from myself.
